Memorial services will be held Monday, December 26, 2011, at 6:30 PM at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson for Mark Allen Aucoin, 50, a Morgan City native and resident of Patterson, who passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at 7:50 AM at Maison De Ville Nursing Home in Houma following a courageous battle with cancer.  Inurnment will be held at a later date.  Father Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.

Survivors include his father, Lester J. Aucoin of Patterson; his mother, Brenda B. Comeaux of Amelia; two brothers, Mike Aucoin and his wife Sheila of Ricohoc and Robbie Aucoin and his wife Robbi of Oklahoma; three children, Cody James Aucoin of Baton Rouge, Courtney Aucoin of Berwick, and Hunter Aucoin of Berwick; three nieces; and two nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Perry Aucoin; and his stepmother, Glenda Sue Aucoin.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made in Mark's name to Amedisys Hospice Services, 1403 Saint Charles St., Suite 103, Houma, LA 70360, www.amedisys.com, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, www.cancer.org.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, December 26, at Ibert's Mortuary from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
