Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin during an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Virginia Comeaux Ronsonet, a native of Gueydan and a longtime resident of Baldwin who passed away at the age of 79 on Saturday, January 21, 2017. She will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Cedric Sonnier will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Ronsonet, Kurt Ronsonet, Terry Ronsonet, Brad Ronsonet, Blare Ronsonet, and Ryan Ronsonet. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Ronsonet, Karson Landry, and Konnor Landry.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m., and again Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to time of dismissal at 10:30 a.m.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her four children, Linda Titus and her husband Johnny, Terry Ronsonet, Bryan Ronsonet and his wife Elise, and Kurt Ronsonet and his wife Joni; her sister, Clara Dell Bergeron; her grandchildren, Brad, Tiffany, Blare, Jeromy, Christy, Diedra, Britni, Rachel, and Ryan; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Minos Ronsonet; her parents, Eno Comeaux and Sophie LeBlanc Comeaux; and nine siblings, Anna Mae Lorraine, Antoine Maxie Comeaux, Melba Jeanne Logue, Alton Joseph Comeaux, Leola Mary Delahoussaye, Romonia Theresa Plaisance, Janel Mary Abshire, Marlene Cecile Rials, and Kelly James Comeaux.
