Myra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who genuinely loved her family and loved them all equally. Generous and caring by nature, she was the type of person who always put the needs of others before her own. Myra was definitely the rock of the family. She was also a wonderful cook, something that she truly loved doing. She had an open door policy and would feed anyone who walked into her home. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory include two sons, Wilbert Paul, Jr. and his wife Andrea, and Randy Paul, Sr.; four daughters, Jacqueline Griffin and her husband Frank, Marilyn Paul Gunner, Markita Westley and her husband Ryan, and Lorena Benjamin and her husband Anthony, Jr.; 12 grandchildren, Bradley Paul, Anjanike Williams-Smith, Brittany Gunner, Timothy Wolf, Giovanni Gunner, Nashanta Benjamin, Bryan Paul, Randionna Paul, Randy Paul, Jr., Randalyn Paul, Randan Paul and Kailey Benjamin; two great grandchildren, Khyler Williams and Taytum Smith; two brothers, Morrison Broussard Sr. and Ulysses Broussard; four sisters, Florence Pickett, Audrey Verdun, Laura Williams, and Rose Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert A. Paul Sr.; her parents, Arthur Broussard Sr. and Florence Sterling Broussard; four brothers, Cal Broussard, Cleveland Broussard, Arthur Broussard Jr., and Whitney Broussard Sr.; and one sister, Lorena Broussard.
