A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the Patterson Civic Center from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. for Michael Genzale, a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Patterson who passed away at his home at the age of 60 on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Rev. Toby Ryder will conduct the memorial service.
Michael is survived by his three children, Chris Genzale, SFC Brian Genzale and his wife Dana, and Heather G. Garcia and her husband Wilfredo; one grandson, Ethan Garcia; four siblings, Mark Genzale and his wife Denise, Mario Genzale, Joanne Genzale, and Jean Genzale-Bertrand and her husband Dwayne; one niece, Madison Genzale; one nephew, Connor Bertrand; as well as his longtime companion, Dianne Cremaldi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Vincent Genzale and America Matus Genzale.
