Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin during an 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Jo Marie P. Musso, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend to many, and longtime resident of Franklin who passed away at the age of 90 on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at her home. Following the Mass she will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Michael Russo will be the Celebrant for the Mass with Father Lloyd Benoit, Father Oneil Landry, and Father Thomas Vu concelebrating. Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph A. Junca, Harold J. Junca III, Jason L. Junca, Giuseppe P. Musso, Samuel A. Musso, and Nathan P. Musso.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday at the Church of the Assumption from 9:00 a.m. until Mass time at 11:30 a.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m. led by Father Lloyd Benoit.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her six children, Lynn M. Junca, Daryl F. Musso, Maria M. Pereira and her husband Britt, Carlo A. Musso and his wife Teresa, Marti G. Musso and his wife Susie, and John Patrick Musso and his wife Angela; five siblings, Valjean P. Spear, Eila P. Pere and her husband Dean, Jude D. Stansbury and his wife Sandy, Donna Prestenbach, and Gwen P. May and her husband James; 10 grandchildren, Joseph A. Junca, Harold J. Junca III, Jason L. Junca, Giuseppe P. Musso, Gianni A. Musso, Alexis M. Musso, Samuel A. Musso, Nathan P. Musso, Josie M. Musso, and Anna F. Musso; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Giuseppe P. Musso Jr.; one daughter, Michele T. Musso; one son, Giuseppe P. Musso III; her father, Sidney A. Prestenbach; her mother, Bernice Forgey Stansbury; three siblings, Marjorie P. Walker, Jacquelyn P. Trahan, and Roylene P. Wiggins.
