Hillary Anthony Hebert, a native and resident of Morgan City, Louisiana, went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 70 years old on Sunday, June 5, 2016. He was surrounded by family and friends at the Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Hillary was born in Morgan City on September 9, 1945, to the late Milton Hebert, Sr. and the late Thelma Duval Hebert. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Francis Dean Hebert.

A hard worker, Hillary's career took him all over the country with his wife, his father and mother-in-law, and brother-in-law constructing mausoleums. He was also a master carpenter by trade, recently building beautiful homes in Morgan City and the surrounding areas with Morgan's Construction. Hillary loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Dean Orgeron Hebert; four children, Stephanie Hebert Dupuy and her husband Troy, Charmaine Hebert Martinez and her husband Jessie, Chad Michael Dupuis and his wife Christie, and Jennifer Dupuis Merriam and her husband Brant; his grandchildren, Ethan and Brianna Breaux, Zachary Dupuy, C.J. and Colby Dupuis , Jordyn Merriam Johnson, Shelby Grace and Brantley Merriam, and Austin, Autumn, and Ashton Martinez; one great grandson, Aalon Martinez, and baby Gideon Johnson expected to arrive in August; his brother, Milton "Noonie Boy" Hebert, Jr. and two sisters, Diana Guillory and Stella "Pookie" Castille.

He is now reunited with all those who have gone before him, including his parents; one sister, Geraldine Acosta; his father and mother-in-law, Billy and Evelyn Morgan; a nephew, William John Morgan; and two brothers-in-law, Eugene Hebert and L.J. Acosta.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., in Patterson from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. The mortuary will re-open Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., when a celebration of his life will be held. Reverend Ronnie Cuvillier will officiate.
