Funeral services celebrating the life of Hilda Mary Pichoff Bonvillain will be held Monday, November 20, 2017, at Church of the Assumption during an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Following the Mass she will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery Mausoleum #3. Father Lloyd Benoit will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Ibert's Mortuary until service time, with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10:00 a.m. by Mrs. Cora Bouton.

Hilda was a native of Lafayette and a lifelong resident of Franklin who passed away peacefully at the age of 87 surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, November 17, 2017. She was a devout Catholic, a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Come Lord Jesus group and she was also a Eucharistic minister for her Church. She loved her customers and made lifelong friends having serviced our community as a beautician and owner of the Style Center in Franklin for over 57 years. She devoted her entire life to her husband, children, and grandchildren, always putting their needs before hers. She will be greatly missed by all, leaving all with wonderful memories.

Survivors include three children, Gary J. Bonvillain and his wife Johanna of Patterson, Mitchell F. Bonvillain and his wife Shelia and Sharon B. Dupuy, both of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Marnie Dupuy, Robert Dupuy, Erika Bonvillain, Jake Bonvillain, Tara Bonvillain, Jason Bonvillain, Zachary Bonvillain and Doug Thibodeaux; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Dupuy, Paisley Landry, Donte' Dennis and Logan Bonvillain; two great, great grandchildren, Noelle and Luc Dupuy and one brother, James H. Pichoff of Oakgrove.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Percy J. Bonvillain; her son, Richard J. Bonvillain; her parents Rufus J. Pichoff and Nella Landry Pichoff and one brother, Rufus Joseph Pichoff.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Steven McPherson, his staff, the medical staff at the Franklin Foundation Hospital and the staff of Journey Hospice.
