Dolores Dupre Hebert passed away at the age of 74, three days shy of her 75th birthday, in the early morning hours of Monday, June 11, 2018, at home with her family at her side. Dolores was a native and longtime former resident of Franklin and has resided in Youngsville for the past six years.

A selfless and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, she lived her life putting the needs of others before her own. She was a creative person whose favorite pastimes included cooking, drawing, and arts and crafts. But what truly brought joy to her life was her faith and family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her final months and days, she took up crocheting, making afghans for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her husband of nearly 56 years, Deacon Douglas J. Hebert; three children, Scott A. Hebert of New Iberia, Monique A. Hebert of Youngsville, and Mitzi H. Perkins and her husband Josh of Fulshear, TX; eight grandchildren, Heather Hebert, Christen Hebert, Brooke Stovall, Blake Stovall, Mason Perkins, Layne Perkins, Gavin Perkins, and Hayes Perkins; three great grandchildren, Emerie Tarbutton, Tanner Tarbutton, and Hayden Stovall; two sisters, Beverly D. "Woogie" Concienne and Gayle D. Louviere and her husband Gene; her brother-in-law, Jimmy Barrilleaux; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand Augustine "Ferd" Dupre and Thelma LeBlanc "Sis" Dupre; her sister, Charlene D. Barrilleaux; and her brother-in-law, Charles Ray Concienne.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018, at the Church of the Assumption in Franklin during a 12:00 noon Mass of Christian Burial, with Father Gilbert Dutel as Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will begin at the church at 9:00 a.m., with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid the rest in the Perpetual Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott A. Hebert, Blake A. Stovall, Josh D. Perkins, Lloyd J. Concienne, Blaine J. Barrilleaux, and Chris Louviere. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Louviere, Jimmy Barrilleaux, Mason Perkins, and Layne Perkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington DC 20090-8018, 888-557-7177, https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate.
