David Wayne LeBlanc passed away at the age of 48 following a lengthy illness in the early morning hours of Monday, June 11, 2018, at Franklin Foundation Hospital surrounded by family. David was raised in Baldwin and Centerville and has resided in Franklin for the past 16 years. He was also a veteran of the Louisiana National Guard, having served six months of his enlistment on active duty stateside during Desert Storm.

He is survived by his mother, Judy M. Luke; his father, Wayne J. LeBlanc; his brother, Jason W. LeBlanc and his wife Alex; his sister, Sarah LeBlanc Liner and her husband Jason; his maternal grandmother, Norma Ruth Luke; seven nieces and nephews, Ryan LeBlanc and his fiancé Marissa Smith, Caleb LeBlanc, Grace LeBlanc, Taylor Perry, Micah Liner, Emme Liner, and Rexx Liner; one great niece, Kinley LeBlanc; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gilbert W. "Goat" Luke; and his paternal grandparents, LeRoy LeBlanc and Marie Webre LeBlanc.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, June 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville beginning at 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Mass at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Ruben Primor will conduct the services.
