Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his wife of 62 years, Beverly K. Chauvin; three children, Ricky Chauvin and his wife Julie of Baldwin, Kenny C. Hebert and her husband Dennis of Jennings, and Patti C. Marine and her husband Brother of Broussard; one sister, Marilyn C. Patrizo of Knoxville, TN; one brother-in-law, James Rodriguez of Ashton; nine grandchildren, Jessie Chauvin Ribble (Ryne), Henri' Chauvin (Taylor), Greg Hebert (Alesha), Katie Hebert, Ben Hebert (Michelle), Megan Marine Perkins (Jason), Ryan Marine (Jennifer), Emily Marine Moore (Mike), and Michael Marine (Stephanie); 16 great grandchildren, Madelyn Buchert, Roman Ribble, Amelia Hebert, Hayes Perkins, Mary Beth Perkins, Sam Perkins, Eleanor Perkins, Landry Marine, Elizabeth Marine, Murphy Marine, Lucy Moore, Grace Moore, Mikey Moore, Alec Moore, Juliette Marine, and Meredith Marine; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clisme John Chauvin and Mildred Lambert Chauvin; one sister, Vera Lee Chauvin Cormier; parents-in-law, Beverly A. Kihnel and Ruth Tabor Kihnel; and sister-in-law, Peggy Kihnel Rodriguez.

CT graduated in 1953 from Hanson and enlisted in the Navy. During his enlistment, he was stationed in Guam, got married and served on a military transport ship out of San Francisco and was discharged in 1957. He returned to Franklin, worked for Humble Oil for a couple of years before joining Kihnel's Sheet Metal Works, eventually buying the shop from his uncle and father-in-law. He retired in December of 1998. CT enjoyed fishing, gardening, barbequing, serving his community and church, and most importantly being around his family. CT was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption where he served as a lecturer and Eucharistic Minister. He was a member of the Franklin Historic District Commission Board and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He was awarded the Bishop's Service Award in 2003.

If you knew CT, you knew him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather with unconditional love for his family. He was known by many names: CT, Mr. CT, Honey, Uncle CT, Dad, Daddy, Bum Bum, Paw Paw Buddy, Paw Paw, Uncle Buddy, Parrain, Paw Paw in a Wheel Chair, Lover-boy, and Pop.

He was a protector, provider, and possessed the gift of great patience and virtue. Most importantly, he was a man of strong faith and a devout Catholic. He taught his family how to love. During the last years of his life, while confined to a wheel chair, he never complained and always said "thank you" with a smile on his face. You will be missed and never forgotten. Until we see you again, safe journey. We love you.

Thanks to Dr. McPherson and the Franklin Foundation Hospital Staff for their compassionate care.

Special thanks to Shirlene Brown and Dee Willis for their years of devoted care to our family.
