Was saddened to learn about Pat's passing away. We were friends and roommates from long ago at Camp Waldemar when we placed second in a tennis tournament winning the silver medal. Two Cajuns against two Texas aces, Pat and I thought it was hysterical & laughed for months. We never lost total contact & visited each other's homes. I have a picture of one such visit, would be glad to send it. There will be less laughter in the world now! Deepest sympathy.

To the Stiel's. My heart goes out to y'all. Your mom and I had a special bond all of my life. She was one of my main supporters when I was called to be a pastor at 35 years old. I loved her and I know she loved me. Know that I am praying for y'all and will continue to pray.
